On an exchange of e-mails with Bil Bryant, the CEO of PowerFx confirmed the productions of two vocaloids: One made in collaboration with VocaTone and another made by PowerFx only.
The upcoming bilingual vocaloid will cover both English and Japanese language and is going to be voiced by YOHIO. As himself confirmed this information today via twitter.
Yohio is a swedish singer-songwriter who´s lately becoming known on Japanese Visual Key scene.
As for the vocaloid PowerFX is working on will be voiced by an American voice provider, other details around this vocaloid is still unknown.
On a brief conversation with Zero-G team about the upcoming celtic vocaloid, they informed me that she should be released on the next summer.
I guess this is the time where we site and patiently wait. I have high hopes on this one! ^^
It’s been seven months since Yamaha redesigned the official vocaloid site adapting for vocaloid3. When that redesigned happened English was left behind, forgotten. After 4 months since the japanese website release, an user from VocaloidOtaku found that an english version of vocaloid.com was under development, calling you a dummy.
Fortunately, they filled the replacement text with actual info and the website is now, almost, in english. Motoichi Tamura announced that now official information from Yamaha will also be provided in english.
If you want to check out the new cool vocaloid website and Mr. Tamura’s official note here it is: Vocaloid Site / Tamura’s announcement
Mr. Malcolm Brown, also known as LyleMusic, is a Vocaloid composer like many others here. His works have a celtic touch and he mixes them with technology by using primarily VOCALOID Miriam. In this brief time I spoke to him, Malcolm seems to be a very gentle and helpful man. His interest in music has capture the heart of many people over vocaloid community, here is a bit more about him:
