The #1 princess in the world Hatsune Miku will have a “10 Years A Virtual Diva” retrospective panel about her at Animé Los Angeles 14 on 1/27 from 11:45-12:45 in LP3 on the 2nd floor of the Ontario Convention Center!

Hatsune Miku is the internet’s most virtual idol. Powered by the Vocaloid software she has given voice to thousands of producers on NicoNicoDouga, YouTube, SoundCloud, and beyond. In our panel, we will be looking back at the last decade of music videos and try to stuff as much of the last 10 years of Miku history in one 60-minute interactive panel.

Our panelists will pitch songs from each year since Miku’s release, tell you interesting factoids, viewership statistics, and emphatic pleas about why you should choose their song. Based on these pitches we will call for an audience vote and based on your feedback we will experience that music video together. Rinse and repeat every year until Sand Planet.

The panelist that gets most of their songs voted for will win a mystery prize. To reward an encourage audience participation we will have our version of the “I Voted” sticker with a “Wish I Was Hatsune Miku” ribbon that will be given away for free for everyone that takes part in our panel.

A small sampling of Miku songs you may be able to vote on: Ievan Polkka, Miku Miku ni Shite Ageru♪, Melt, Miracle Paint, Love is War, World is Mine, Cendrillion, Po Pi Po, Magnet, Alice, Two Faced Lovers, Nebula, from Y to Y, Starduster, Rolling Girl, Matryoshka, World’s End Dancehall, Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya!, Senbonzakuram Sayoko, Freely Tomorrow, 39 (Sankyuu), ODDS&END, Tell Your World, Love Song, Viva Happy, Ghost Rule, Love Trial, Sharing the World, Glass Wall, Patchwork Stacatto, Love Letter from Melancholoy, Alien Alien, Miku, Kimagure Mercy, Sand Planet.
