In a merch campaign promoting the MikuExpo 2016 Tour along with the official Hatsune Miku Expo 2016 E.P. special edition compilation album the organisers have setup a PledgeMusic campaign to help raise additional funds for the tour as well as give fans the chance to bring Miku to their own town.
For those unfamiliar PledgeMusic operates similar to Kickstarter in that it is an all-or-nothing style crowdfunding platform that specifically targets musicians and music fans. The campaign offers a variety of rewards including the MikuExpo 2016 EP, tour t-shirts, multicolor glowsticks, concert credits and more.
The holy grail of prizes however has to be the $1,000,000 tier however, where for the low price of one million dollars one enterprising Vocaloid fans can put his/her money where their mouth is and bring Hatsune Miku to your own town for a concert (unspecified restrictions apply).
The PledgeMusic campaign quickly reached its goal when the unique concert experiences sold out quickly and now the campaign is mostly acting as a hub for merch pre-orders and AccessPass digital download sales.
